I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a highly respected engineering and manufacturing business, for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an EHS professional looking for flexibility while supporting a busy operation with a wide range of environmental, health and safety activities.The successful Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation, supporting operational teams, and helping to promote a positive safety culture throughout the business. This position is not solely focused on document control and manual updates; the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator will also be involved in a variety of day-to-day EHS activities across the site.As the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:Implementing and maintaining company environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresEnsuring compliance with local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulationsMonitoring legislative changes and advising the business on compliance requirementsPreparing, maintaining and updating EHS policies, procedures and associated documentationActing as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external agenciesSupporting the design and development of facilities, work areas and working practices from ..... full job details .....
