Location: Necton Substation, Norfolk
Project: Norfolk Vanguard
Rate: -500 per day (All-In Rate)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Duration: 6 Months (with a view to extend for the duration of the project)
EHS Advisor Required - Norfolk Vanguard Project
We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join the prestigious Norfolk Vanguard project based at Necton Substation. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental professional to support a major infrastructure project, with an initial 6-month contract and strong potential for extension throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across site operations.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Support project teams in implementing EHS policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings.
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Build and maintain a positive safety culture across all project activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an EHS Advisor within construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, or major projects.
- NEBOSH Certificate (essential).
- Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
- Full right to work in the UK.
