HSE Advisor

We are looking for a HSE Advisor to join our Client''s established manufacturing operation, supporting the HSE Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible working environment. This is a night-shift position working 22:00-06:00. What You''ll Be Doing: Support the HSE Manager with the implementation and ongoing development of company health, safety and environmental policies Carry out regular audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE procedures and identify areas for improvement Complete risk assessments for new processes and implement appropriate actions Review and maintain COSHH assessments for workplace processes and materials Coordinate safe working procedures and ensure relevant policies and instructions are communicated effectively Manage the contractor on-site process, ensuring all required HSE documentation, qualifications and checks are in place Investigate accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences, identifying actions to prevent recurrence Maintain and update Health and Safety Data Sheets for products and materials used across the site Keep up to date with changes in HSE legislation and support the business in maintaining compliance Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees regarding workplace hazards, chemicals, handling, containment and disposal Audit work equipment and PPE safety checks to ensure ongoing compliance Support the company''s Integrated Management System and ensure policies, processes and procedures are ..... full job details .....
