GDS Partners are recruiting an EHS Advisor on behalf of a leading M&E Contractor for a permanent position based in Bristol, UK.

Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor delivering large-scale projects across the commercial, industrial, healthcare, data centre, and mission-critical sectors throughout the UK. They have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across all operations.
About the Role:
- Permanent position based in Bristol, UK
- Opportunity to work on major M&E and construction projects

- Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 + Package (DOE)

- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments
- Promote a proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental culture across all project teams
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and UK Health & Safety legislation
- Review RAMS, permits to work, and other site safety documentation
- Support site management teams with Health & Safety advice and guidance
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and maintain high HSE standards across the site
- Produce HSE reports and maintain accurate site records
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies where required
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification, e.g. Degree or NEBOSH
- Previous experience within the construction or M&E sector
- Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations
- Experience carrying out site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £45,000 - £55,000 + Package
