About the Role
The HSE Advisor role in Kidderminster offers a permanent position with a salary between £38,000 and £42,000 per annum. Working for a manufacturing firm, you will report to the Group Head of Compliance and collaborate with another advisor across two local sites encompassing both production and logistics. Daily presence on the floor is crucial, requiring you to conduct walkarounds, compliance audits, and toolbox talks while managing actions within the system. You must confidently assert safety standards, balancing firmness with practical judgement. This varied position involves driving improvements and maintaining regulations, ensuring a safe environment across the company’s operations.
HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Kidderminster who are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Advisor to join the team.
Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance you will work closely with another HSE Advisor to drive compliance and improvements across two local manufacturing and logistics sites. That daily visible presence is essential to managing safety on site- you will have to stand your ground and push back but it’s a balance of knowing when this stance is needed. It will be a really varied role, always out on site, doing walk arounds, compliance checks, toolbox talks, working through actions on the system.

What we are looking for:
- Someone comfortable and happy out on the shop floor, visibility is essential
- Driven, self-motivated, good team player and work ethic – someone who cares
- Good communicator
- IT Savvy- able to pick up and maximise the use of a management system
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
- Environmental permitting and ISO systems experience would be advantageous.
- Manufacturing or some high risk, engineering related field would be advantageous but not necessary, attitude and fit is much more important
