St Albans, Hertfordshire 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract - Possibility to extendUp to 65k pro rataThe Opportunity:Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on reviewing, strengthening, and embedding Health and Safety compliance across the organisation, ensuring full adherence to UK HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health and Safety professional who can quickly identify compliance gaps, implement practical solutions, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive Health and Safety audits across production, laboratory, warehouse, office and associated facilities.Review and update Health and Safety policies, SOPs, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation. Work closely with operational teams to implement compliant and sustainable Health and Safety processes.Strengthen COSHH management and GMP-compliant handling of chemicals and materials. Review incident reporting procedures and support robust root cause investigations and corrective actionsSupport Health and Safety representatives and contribute to ongoing safety improvement initiatives.Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership.Within the contract period, you will:Complete full Health and Safety and compliance audits. ..... full job details .....
