Job Title: HSE Advisor – Solar Projects
Location: England (multi-site)
Contract: 12+ months | Outside IR35 | Competitive day rate

We are working with a leading international renewable energy developer delivering large-scale solar, wind, and green fuel projects across Europe and beyond. With a proven track record and in-house expertise covering the full project lifecycle, they are driving the transition to a low-carbon future.

The Role
As an HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple utility-scale solar projects in England. This is a site-based contract position, offering the opportunity to work on major projects with a global developer.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training

• Support project teams with the implementation of safety policies and management systems

• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions

• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture

• Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental legislation

Requirements:

• Proven HSE experience in utility-scale solar projects

• Strong knowledge of UK HSE regulations

• Relevant NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety certification

• Excellent communication and training skills

• Ability to work across multiple locations

• Experience in engineering or construction environments preferred
