Job Title: HSE Advisor (6-Month Contract) Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire Industry: Chemical Manufacturing Contract Type: Fixed-Term (6 months) Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor to support our site in Alfreton on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing for internal and external audits, maintaining ISO certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.), and driving compliance with all relevant HSE regulations. This is a hands-on role, ideally suited for a candidate with a strong background in chemical or high-hazard manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Prepare for and support internal and external HSE audits, ensuring site readiness and documentation compliance. Maintain and update ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 management systems. Conduct and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and method statements. Support and monitor waste management processes, including classification, handling, and disposal in line with legal requirements. Provide HSE training and toolbox talks to operational teams. Investigate incidents and near-misses, ensuring effective root cause analysis and follow-up. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.
