Health & Safety Consultant – CDM Projects
Location: Goole
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend to 12 months) 5 days per week
Day rate: Flexible dependant on experience

I am currently working with a consultancy based in the Yorkshire area, who are working with a third party client on projects based in Goole area and they are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant to support their CDM projects to join on a temporary ongoing contract.

While there is already a dedicated professional on site handling audits, this role focuses on proactive H&S support, working closely with Project Managers to ensure compliance, drive best practices, and provide hands-on guidance across ongoing developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert H&S advice and guidance across a range of CDM projects
• Collaborate directly with Project Managers to embed safety into planning and execution
• Proactively identify risks and implement preventative measures
• Support with documentation, reporting, and compliance assurance

About You:

• Strong background in Health & Safety within construction or CDM environments
• Confident working autonomously and collaboratively within project teams
• Able to influence and support site teams in a proactive, solution-focused way
• Relevant H&S qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH)

This is a full-time, on-site contract position offering an excellent opportunity to add real value to an active portfolio of projects.
