Position: HRA Interim Senior Lead Compliance Location: Deane Depot, Taunton, TA219AD Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3+ Month Working Hours: 37 hours per week Pay Rate: £ 369.68 per day Job Ref: OR(phone number removed) Job Responsibilities Lead and manage the property compliance service across multiple housing sites Ensure full compliance with legislation, government policy, regulatory requirements, and approved codes of practice Provide strategic leadership as part of the senior leadership team within the directorate Act as technical lead for all property safety compliance areas, including: Fire safety Asbestos management Gas safety Electrical safety Water hygiene (Legionella) Radon and lifts Oversee statutory inspections and ensure timely completion to avoid risk to life, property, and reputation Lead procurement and management of compliance-related contracts and ensure governance standards are met Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure effective reporting systems are in place Lead internal and external audits and ensure actions are implemented within agreed timescales Ensure fire safety compliance across the housing stock, including implementation of best practice and inquiry recommendations Manage budgets effectively, including planning, monitoring, and delivery of works Set and monitor performance standards and service improvement targets Manage contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of works Undertake site ..... full job details .....
