HR Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join a school, supporting the delivery of a proactive, effective and compliant HR service. This role plays a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, safeguarding compliance and day-to-day HR operations within an education setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and staff across the TrustSupport the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment and probation processesManage and maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and employment legislationComplete safeguarding and pre-employment checks including Enhanced DBS, references, right to work and qualification checksMaintain and ensure compliance of the Single Central Register (SCR)Support absence management processes, ensuring records are tracked and updated accuratelyAssist with HR administration relating to contractual changes, maternity/paternity documentation, pay review letters and amendments to contractsSupport recruitment activity including advertising, pre-employment screening and safer recruitment processesLiaise with payroll to ensure accurate monthly payroll data is providedAct as a first point of contact for HR queries, responding in a professional, confidential and timely mannerSupport line managers with HR processes including return to work meetings, investigations and disciplinary processes where requiredAssist with HR ..... full job details .....
