HR Officer

Location: East London / (Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office)
Contract: Temporary, up to 6 months
Salary: -20 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join a busy and supportive HR team on a temporary basis for up to 6 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong administration and onboarding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a high-quality employee experience.

• Manage the end-to-end new starter and on-boarding process.
• Issue contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.
• Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records and update HR systems.
• Support hiring managers with onboarding queries and process guidance.
• Coordinate inductions and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Monitor onboarding compliance and right-to-work documentation.
• Provide general HR administrative support across the employee life-cycle.

• Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator or HR Coordinator role.
• Strong understanding of on-boarding and employee administration processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role offers a hybrid working model with one day per week in the office, alongside the opportunity to join a collaborative team and make an immediate impact during a busy period.
