This is a multi-faceted role as is usually the case within a smaller business. As such, responsibilities are split across:Generalist HRDeveloping HR policies, and ensuring best practice and legal complianceEmployee lifecycle work including recruitmentEmployee engagement, reviewing staff benefits for exampleEmployee relations - handling disciplinaries and grievances where necessaryPlay a pivotal part in shaping future HR strategy including early careers engagement and succession planningComplianceEnsuring legal compliance with employment lawReviewing all other policies to manage risk within the business from a people perspectiveLeading on GDPR complianceLearning and DevelopmentOrganise and co-ordinate external and internal staff training, some mandatory, some CPDEnsure the workforce is continually upskilledAdvise and lead on employee development reviewsPayrollIdeally preparing payroll, but this is not ..... full job details .....
