HR Investigator and Resolutions Advisor

and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.The post holder will independently undertake Employee Relations investigations, in line with best practice policy and procedures, and will support the delivery of informal Resolution options to address workplace issues, including facilitation and mediation.Responsibilities
Independently undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations.Interview witnesses, create witness statements and ensure their accuracy and sign-off.Produce comprehensive written investigation reports and present cases at formal hearings.Review and interpret conflicting, sensitive and contentious information, producing a clear investigation report that explains the factual elements of the case.Identify and escalate potential risks to ensure appropriate action to mitigate risks.Utilise and analyse information to manage cases in line with policy, aiming for optimum outcomes and minimising the risk of Employment Tribunal claims.Support and encourage early and/or informal intervention to resolve staff issues, working with HR colleagues, managers and employees to promote resolution options.Deliver facilitated conversations and formal mediation sessions between employees.Requirements / Qualifications
Experience undertaking Employee Relations investigations, with ability to interview witnesses and produce clear, accurate reports.Ability to interpret sensitive information and present it fairly and clearly in investigation reports.Experience in facilitating conversations and mediation between staff, and in applying relevant policies and procedures.Strong judgement to manage cases in line with policy and to minimise risk of Employment Tribunal claims.About the Organisation and Values
