HR / ER Advisor

As Employee Relations Specialist, you will join a busy HR Operations team and act as the subject matter expert for all ER matters across the business. This is a hands-on temporary role (initially 3-6 months) focused on delivering high-quality advice and managing a significant volume of employee relations cases from start to finish.Key responsibilities will include: Managing a large caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, probation and flexible working cases. Leading complex case management activity, including cases that may result in dismissal. Supporting and coaching managers to ensure employee relations issues are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation. Providing expert guidance on complex absence management and working closely with Occupational Health providers. Building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the organisation. Designing and delivering training to improve management capability and confidence in handling ER matters. Maintaining accurate case records, analysing trends and identifying areas for improvement. Supporting policy reviews and wider HR projects as required.
