We are recruiting an experienced and highly organised HR Coordinator to join a well-established Manufacturing business based in Liverpool.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the senior management team and wider business with day-to-day HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll information and workforce reporting.
The successful candidate will be professional, approachable and confident handling sensitive employee information.
You will need excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies and scheduling interviews.
- Complete right-to-work and employee documentation checks.
- Coordinate new starter onboarding and leaver processes.
- Support probation reviews, annual appraisals, performance improvement plans and employee development documentation.
- Work alongside external HR advisors on UK employment law and employee-rights matters.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with company policies and current UK employment legislation.
- Coordinate employee training, including sourcing providers, booking courses and maintaining training records.
- Monitor employee qualifications, certifications and renewal dates.
- Organise temporary labour requirements in line with production demands.
- Prepare payroll-related information for management review and approval.
- Ensure accurate employee information is provided to the Finance department within agreed timescales.
- Maintain time and attendance systems and support workforce-planning activities.
- Produce monthly reports covering absence, sickness, sick pay and other HR KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using People HR and other associated systems.
- Ensure employee information and documentation are retained in line with GDPR and company requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or at least three years’ experience within a similar HR position.
- Previous experience within HR or operational administration.
- Knowledge of HR policies and their practical implementation.
- A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Strong IT skills, particularly across Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management and prioritisation abilities.
- Experience managing relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Desirable Requirements:
- A degree in HR or a related subject.
- Associate CIPD membership.
- Experience using People HR or a similar HR information system.
- The ability to design and deliver internal training sessions.
- Experience supporting HR activities within a production, manufacturing or operational environment.
