Job Title: HR ConsultantType: PermanentLocation: Hybrid working (Bristol 1x a week)Salary: £42,839 per annumHours: 37 hours a week We are working with a leading local authority who are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join their Workforce and Change - HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to provide specialist advice and guidance across a broad range of complex employee relations matters, working closely with managers, employees and senior stakeholders. Duties: Provide expert HR advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters. Manage a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management. Support restructures, TUPE transfers, internal appeals, ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into grievances and misconduct. Coach and support managers through formal HR processes. Interpret HR policies and provide pragmatic recommendations and solutions. Advise on changes to employment law and best practice. Work closely with trade unions, employee representatives and senior leaders. Analyse HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures. Challenge practices where appropriate and promote positive change.
