HR Consultant

About the Role We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the contract to be extended. Based at our busy manufacturing site in Coventry, this is a hands-on, site-based HR role working closely with managers, supervisors and employees across the organisation. You will provide practical HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations, attendance, performance and supporting managers with day-to-day people matters. We are specifically looking for someone with previous HR experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment who understands the demands of working within a fast-paced, operational setting. This is a fully on-site position, so you''ll be a visible and approachable HR presence across the manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees. Supporting ramp-up hiring requirements - interview support, chasing onboarding documents etc. Work closely with production and operational teams to provide practical HR support. Manage and support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters. Advise managers on attendance, performance and conduct issues.
