HR Business Partner

We are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation with who are looking to appoint an experienced People Partner on a 12-month FTC.This will be a full-time position based in Manchester, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across project work, performance and project management, along with excellent capability in working with trade unions while maintaining strategic oversight and analytical insight.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Partnering with leaders across all business units to support people strategy and day-to-day HR needsBuilding strong industrial relations, working collaboratively with trade union representatives to maintain constructive dialogue, resolve issues, and support organisational changeLeading performance management activity and coaching managers to drive a high-performance cultureDelivering organisation-wide performance projects and strengthening capability frameworksAdvising managers on employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, and workforce planningUsing people data and insights to identify trends and influence decision-makingSupporting talent development, succession planning, and capability growth across teamsManaging generalist HR activity including onboarding, absence, casework, and employee experienceLeading complex ER cases, coaching senior leaders, and ensuring fair, consistent outcomes across the ..... full job details .....
