Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join Wakefield Council on an iniital 6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide professional HR advice and guidance across a range of employee relations matters Partner with senior managers to support organisational change, restructures and workforce planning Support managers with complex casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and capability issues Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practice Analyse workforce data and provide insight to inform decision-making Promote positive employee relations and support wellbeing and engagement initiatives Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and local authority requirements About You Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment is highly desirable CIPD Qualified Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you. ..... full job details .....
