HR Assistant - Reading - Salary £30,000 to £32,000 About the Role We''re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Assistant to join our clients team. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of the employee experience, supporting colleagues throughout their journey with the business. From recruitment and onboarding through to training, payroll support and employee relations, you''ll play an important role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly, efficiently and in line with employment legislation and company policies. The successful candidate will be a strong administrator with excellent attention to detail, a professional approach to confidential information and a genuine passion for supporting people. A bit about the day to day Managing and maintaining employee records and HR systems. Supporting recruitment activities, including onboarding and offboarding processes. Preparing employment documentation, letters and HR correspondence. Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring accurate data submission. Monitoring and maintaining holiday, absence and sickness records. Coordinating training programmes and compliance requirements. Responding to employee and manager queries in a timely and professional manner. Assisting with the development, review and maintenance of company policies and procedures.
