HR Assistant Location: DoncasterSalary: CompetitiveOverview:The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is key in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, supporting compliance with UK employment legislation, and maintaining accurate employee records.Recruitment and Onboarding Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes (advertising roles, shortlisting, interview coordination).Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and onboarding documentation.Conduct right-to-work checks in accordance with UK Visas and Immigration guidelines.Coordinate induction programmes for new starters, including factory-based employees. HR Administration Maintain and update employee records and HR systems in compliance with UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).Process contractual changes, absence records, and employee correspondence.Support payroll preparation by collating and verifying employee data.Monitor and track probation periods and performance review deadlines.Conduct daily timesheet and hours checks for departments.Ensure any issues are reported in a timely manner to the Head of HR.Monitoring and responding to the HR inboxes providing prompt responses.Assist in the filing, scanning and administration of employee documentation.Maintain databases and training matrices / sign off matrices and chase for outstanding documentation.Administrate the Occupational Health ..... full job details .....
