HR and Health and Safety Officer

Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Our client a leading UK Manufacturer, manufacturing parts for the automotive sector are looking for a proactive and organised HR and Health and Safety Officer to join their team. This is a varied role where you’ll support both our HR function and health and safety compliance, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, people-focused position with real variety.
What you will do:
- Support the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, leavers, and probation reviews.
- Maintain HR records and process weekly timesheets.
- Provide first-line HR support, including minutes at formal meetings.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns and onboarding activities.
- Organise employee training and maintain compliance records.
- Track and report on health and safety incidents, audits, and training.
About You:
We’re seeking someone with strong administration experience, ideally gained in HR, HandS. You’ll need to be highly organised, confident with Microsoft Office, and comfortable handling sensitive information. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Experience with HR systems, knowledge of employment law, or/and HandS legislation would be an advantage.
