This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting managers and helping to create an engaged, inclusive and positive working environment.
The Opportunity-
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a responsive, professional and values-led HR service across the organisation. Working closely with managers and colleagues, you will provide practical advice and support on a broad range of people matters while helping to ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers, employees and volunteers
- Supporting employee relations matters including absence management, performance, conduct, grievance, probation and flexible working cases
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and workforce compliance activities
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting reporting and audit requirements
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the People Services function

You will ideally have:
- CIPD qualification (or be working towards one) or equivalent HR experience
- Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees
- A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience supporting employee relations casework
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional, collaborative and compassionate approach
