HR advisor

We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join the London office of a prestigious US law firm on an 18-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This role offers broad HR generalist exposure within a collaborative and high-performing environment. Key responsibilities include: Managing maternity, paternity and shared parental leave processes. Supporting employee relations, absence management and occupational health cases. Overseeing UK immigration and sponsorship matters. Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities. Supporting flexible working requests, secondments and HR projects. Producing HR reports, drafting correspondence and responding to employee queries. Assisting with HR systems and process improvement initiatives, including Workday. About you: Previous HR experience within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and immigration processes. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
