We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation that is committed to improving lives through employment, skills and business support services. Due to continued growth, they''re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their collaborative HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Location: Manchester, M1
Salary: Up to -32,990 per annum
Contract: Full-time | 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
What You''ll Be Doing
As an HR Advisor, you''ll provide expert operational HR support across a wide range of employee relations and organisational change activities, including:
- Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers on employment law, HR policies and best practice.
- Supporting employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and performance.
- Advising and supporting organisational change projects including restructures, redeployment, redundancy and TUPE.
- Coaching and developing managers to build confidence in people management.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Identifying risks and providing practical, commercially focused HR solutions.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and producing reports.
- Working collaboratively within the wider HR team to continuously improve HR services.
What We''re Looking For
We''re looking for someone who enjoys supporting people, can build credibility quickly and remains calm under pressure.
Ideally you''ll have:
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) or equivalent HR experience.
- At least three years'' recent experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience managing a wide variety of employee relations cases.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence coaching and influencing managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach.
