- Working hours are typically 40 hours per week, generally from 08:30 to 17:30. The role is home-based with approximately one day of travel per week to sites around Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and coaching to managers on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and capability matters.
- Partner with managers to build confidence in people management, ensuring consistent and legally compliant practices.
- Lead and manage absence cases, working closely with Occupational Health to support employee well-being.
- Support organisational change programmes-such as restructures, TUPE transfers, and consultations-ensuring clear communication and compliance.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver accurate data, reporting, and case management updates.
- Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Support recruitment activity, including approvals, interviews, vetting, and on-boarding processes.
- Contribute to HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and retention.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across the business and act as a trusted point of contact for all HR matters.
- Provide cover for other HR Advisors when required and promote best practice in all areas of HR and people management.
About You
You''re a confident HR professional with a strong generalist background and a passion for supporting people and managers. You''ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities, and using your initiative to deliver effective, pragmatic HR solutions.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience
- Strong employee relations background who is also comfortable coaching and training managers on HR topics such as disciplinary/ investigations/ grievances/ difficult conversations etc.
- Broad understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment legislation
- 2-5 years'' experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload independently
- Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and HR systems)
- Flexibility to travel within your designated region
