An established London-based institution is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide first-line advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. The role will play a key part in organisational change activity, including redeployment, contract variations, exits, absence management and employee relations support

Client Details

This organisation operates within the not-for-profit sector and is based in London. Our client is a large and well-respected organisation operating within a complex professional and educational environment in Central London. They are currently undergoing significant organisational change and require an experienced HR professional to support managers and employees through this period of transition.

Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR policy and employee relations matters.
  • Provide advice on maternity, adoption, paternity and other family leave cases.
  • Support absence management processes, liaising with Occupational Health where required.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, contractual changes and leavers.
  • Coordinate redeployment, redundancy, fixed-term contract endings and retirement processes.
  • Conduct and coordinate exit interviews and employee departure administration.
  • Draft HR documentation including contracts, variation letters and employee correspondence.
  • Work closely with recruitment and HR administration teams to deliver an effective HR service.
  • Support organisational change programmes and implementation of new operating models.
  • Manage multiple priorities across a large and diverse stakeholder group.

Profile

  • Previous HR Advisor, HR Officer or HR Coordinator experience.
  • Strong employee lifecycle and generalist HR knowledge.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures or redeployment activity.
  • Confident advising managers on policy, process and employee relations matters.
  • Experience within higher education, public sector or similarly complex organisations would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and high case volumes.
  • Strong administration, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
