We are currently partnering with a growing SME based in Birmingham City Centre, who are recruiting for a standalone HR Manager on a full-time and permanent basis. This is a new position for the organisation, so will be crucial in helping them shape their organisational culture and implement policies and procedures to improve employee engagement and wellbeing. They are able to pay up to £40k depending on experience and require them to be in the office 5 days a week. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Being the main point of contact for managers and employees on any HR queries Supporting with resolution of employee relations issues, such as disciplinary, grievance and absence managementImplementing and driving formal performance management and appraisal processesManaging the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, including advertising vacancies, supporting with interviews, completing pre-employment checks and supporting with inductionsReviewing and improving HR policies and processes and rolling these out across the business Experience required: Previous experience working within a SME desirable Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Employee relationsRecruitmentHR policies Working pattern: 35 hours per week 9am - 5pm (flex)5 days in the office Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
