HR Advisor

People & Culture Advisor required in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.

Permanent | Huntingdon | £35,000 per annum

Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm (1 day working from home)

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor with strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to provide HR advice and support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on a range of ER cases, from day-to-day issues through to more complex cases.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, probation and performance management processes.
• Provide practical advice on HR policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Monitor ER casework, identify trends and provide updates to the People & Culture Business Partner.
• Support onboarding, contracts, HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HR systems.
• Support employee engagement activities and wider People & Culture projects.

About You

• Previous HR advisory experience with strong ER case management experience.
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards it, ideally.
• Confident advising managers on a range of employee relations matters.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with HRIS or Time & Attendance systems is desirable.
• Able to build strong relationships at all levels, from the factory floor to senior management.
• Additional European language skills are advantageous.
• Other languages spoken would be desirable
