Job Title: HR Advisor

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join an FE college based in Reading area, with a strong focus on Employee Relations. You will support managers across the college with a wide range of ER matters, helping to ensure a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise managers on disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance issues
- Manage ER casework from start to resolution
- Support investigations, hearings, and appeals
- Ensure policies are applied consistently and in line with employment law
- Build effective relationships and coach managers on people matters
About You
- Experience in an HR Advisor role with strong ER focus
- Good knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing a varied ER caseload
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
- An enhanced DBS certificate is essential (registered within last 2 years)
