Acting as a trusted partner to managers, you will offer guidance on a broad range of employee relations matters while ensuring best practice, consistency, and compliance with employment legislation.Key responsibilities will include:   Managing a varied employee relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, absence and probation matters.  Coaching and supporting managers on people management issues, policies, procedures and employment legislation.  Monitoring absence trends and supporting managers with attendance management processes.  Partnering with operational leaders to deliver people initiatives and support organisational change programmes.  Supporting employee wellbeing through effective management of long and short-term sickness cases, including liaison with Occupational Health providers.  Building positive relationships with employee representatives and key stakeholders.  Preparing management reports, HR communications, briefings and supporting people-focused projects.
