HR Advisor (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Northampton, NN1 (Flexible working options available)

Contract Length: 3 to 6 Months

Hours: Part-Time (3 to 4 days per week)

Salary/Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and commercially minded HR Advisor to join our client''s team in central Northampton (NN1) on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 to 6 months.This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking for flexible, part-time working arrangements (3 to 4 days per week) to provide robust, day-to-day operational HR support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, first-line advice and guidance to managers on absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters in line with UK employment law and company policy.
• Support recruitment processes, onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding procedures.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records, personnel files, and HR systems, producing employment contracts and related correspondence.
• Assist the HR Manager with reviewing and updating company policies, procedures, and handbook documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience working as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Senior HR Administrator (CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified, or equivalent by experience).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Availability: Immediately available or available on short notice to commit to a 3-6 month FTC working 3 to 4 days per week
