Our client, a well-established contract catering business, is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support their operations across a number of sites in the Birmingham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and partnering closely with managers to provide practical, hands-on HR support.

The Role

Reporting into the senior HR team, you will provide day-to-day HR support across multiple catering sites, advising managers on a range of employee relations matters and ensuring company policies and employment legislation are applied consistently.

You will need to be comfortable travelling between sites in the Birmingham area and building strong relationships with operational teams.

A driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Providing HR advice and guidance to site managers and operational teams

• 
  

  Managing employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues

• 
  

  Supporting recruitment and onboarding across sites

• 
  

  Ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively

• 
  

  Assisting managers with people-related challenges and best practice

• 
  

  Maintaining accurate HR documentation and records

The Ideal Candidate

• 
  

  Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR generalist role

• 
  

  Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

• 
  

  Experience managing employee relations cases

• 
  

  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• 
  

  Comfortable working across multiple sites in an operational environment

• 
  

  CIPD qualification desirable

  Salary of andpound;35,000 ( pro rata)
