HR Advisor

We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to lead the HR function within a well-established manufacturing business. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to build HR systems, culture, and processes from the ground up.The successful candidate will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, support line managers, and help drive employee engagement, performance, and compliance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Performance Management and AppraisalsImplement a structured appraisal system across departmentsSupport managers in setting objectives and performance reviewsAddress underperformance through improvement plansIdentify training needs from performance dataAttendance and Absence ManagementMonitor attendance and manage absence proceduresInvestigate patterns of absenteeism and implement solutionsSupport supervisors with lateness/absence issuesMaintain accurate records and produce regular reportsEmployee Relations and ConductManage disciplinary procedures and grievancesEnsure policies are applied fairly and legallyBe the go-to contact for employee queries and concernsFoster a respectful, inclusive working environmentHR Administration and ComplianceMaintain employee records in line with GDPRKeep HR policies updated and legally compliantPrepare HR reports and insights for managementOversee holiday tracking, return-to-work interviews, ..... full job details .....
