HR Adviser

We''re recruiting for an experienced HR Adviser to join a well-established public sector organisation in Berkshire for an 18-month period. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a diverse and dynamic workforce, delivering professional, practical and commercially focused HR guidance across the employee lifecycle. Please note; This role requires a strong in-person presence and the expectation is that you will be based on-site for the majority of your working hours. Full time or 0.8 FTE hours can be considered. The Role As a trusted HR partner, you''ll provide expert advice on a wide range of people matters, helping managers make informed decisions while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies and best practice. A significant part of the role will involve managing and advising on employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, restructuring and other workplace matters. You''ll work proactively with managers to identify issues early, minimise risk and achieve positive outcomes. You''ll also support recruitment and selection activity, advise on policy and procedure, contribute to organisational projects, and help develop people management capability across the organisation.
