About the Role
Are you an organised and proactive HR professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to our client based in Sheffield on a 3 month contract. In this key role, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, serving as a primary point of contact across the full employee lifecycle, coordinating employee relations case work, supporting internal recruitment, and ensuring smooth, compliant daily operations aligned with FCA regulatory standards.
What You''ll Do
Core Responsibilities:
- Draft and issue key HR documentation throughout the employee journey, including offer letters, contracts, role changes, and exit papers.
- Provide end-to-end administrative coordination for ER cases, including logging, tracking, and assisting with capability, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
- Serve as the first point of contact for grievance inquiries, preparing investigation packs and organising formal hearings in full alignment with policy guidelines.
- Act as official note-taker during formal employee relations meetings, producing clear, precise, and timely records.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment by drafting job adverts, coordinating interview panels, managing candidate communications, and overseeing seamless onboarding checks.
- Maintain precise employee records on the HRIS in compliance with GDPR and audit requirements, while supporting annual cycles (performance reviews, pay reviews, benefits enrollment).
What We''re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Background as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or in an Operational Support role within an HR function.
- Hands-on experience assisting with ER case work and supporting formal workplace procedures.
- Proven note-taking skills with the ability to capture accurate, structured records during fast-paced formal hearings.
- Strong recruitment coordination skills and familiarity with onboarding and right-to-work compliance.
- High attention to detail, strong written English, discretion, and proficiency with HRIS databases and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Desirable Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently studying towards it).
- Prior experience working within an FCA-regulated corporate environment.
