We are seeking a proactive and organised HR Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the HR function. This is a varied role that will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, payroll administration, HR systems management, and employee records.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run efficiently while delivering a high level of service to employees and managers across the business.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Support new starter, probation, and leaver processes.
- Ensure all employee files remain up to date and compliant with GDPR requirements.
- Respond to general HR queries from employees and managers.
- Assist with preparing reports and management information as required.
- Create and post job advertisements across various job boards and recruitment platforms.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns and candidate applications.
- Schedule and organise interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Support onboarding activities for new employees, including induction arrangements and right-to-work checks.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly payroll information.
- Maintain accurate records of employee absences, holidays, and changes to employment details.
- Liaise with payroll providers to ensure employee data is accurate and submitted on time.
- Support the administration of pensions, benefits, and salary-related changes.
- Handle payroll queries and escalate issues where necessary.
- Accurately enter and maintain employee data within HR and payroll systems.
- Produce HR reports and analysis as required.
- Monitor data quality and ensure records are maintained to a high standard.
- Support system updates, audits, and data cleansing activities.
- Ensure HR documentation meets legal and company requirements.
- Support HR audits and compliance checks.
- Maintain confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and data protection legislation.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR, payroll, or an office environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Experience of data entry and maintaining records.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience supporting payroll processes.
- Experience using HRIS or payroll systems.
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
