Housing Triage Officer Hillingdon Full Time Temporary Join a well-established Housing Association in Hillingdon as a Housing Triage Officer and play a key role in preventing homelessness and supporting vulnerable individuals in need of housing assistance. THE ROLE We are currently recruiting for a skilled Housing Triage Officer to join a busy Housing Advice and Options service in Hillingdon. You will be responsible for triaging housing enquiries, carrying out assessments, and delivering advice and support to prevent homelessness in the community.Provide frontline triage assessments and housing advice at the reception deskCarry out thorough assessments of housing needs and risksDeliver effective homelessness prevention and relief support in line with legislationDevelop and implement Personalised Housing Plans for clientsMaintain accurate and confidential case records in line with policyLiaise with external agencies including local authorities and support servicesOffer continued advice and support to those in temporary accommodationTHE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar Housing Options or Homelessness Prevention role, with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and strong customer service skills.Knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 (Part VII) and Homelessness Reduction ActExperience in triage, homelessness enquiries, and drafting s184 decision lettersAbility to manage a busy caseload and meet service deadlinesStrong ..... full job details .....
