Adecco are proud to be recruiting for a Housing Officer on behalf of a large London local authority.Role DetailsFull Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per weekTemporary assignment - 3 months with likely extension 22.41 per hour PAYE / 29.72 per hour UmbrellaHybrid working - typically 2 to 3 days in the office and on patch, remainder working from homeIT equipment providedMileage and travel expenses claimable for visitsParking permit provided for estate inspections and visitsPatch size: approximately 690 propertiesImmediate start availableAbout the RoleAs a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across a defined patch of properties. You will act as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring tenancy obligations are met, neighbourhood standards are maintained, and residents receive an excellent service. This role places a strong emphasis on tenancy management, estate management, resident engagement, and partnership working.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of tenancies and leasehold matters within a designated patch.Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour cases, working closely with residents and partner agencies.Conduct tenancy audits, property inspections, estate inspections, and pre-termination visits.Support residents to sustain their tenancies and access appropriate services.Ensure compliance with tenancy conditions and take enforcement action where required, including preparing ..... full job details .....
