Housing Support Officer WantedContract Length: 3 months +Location: Coventry Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Support Worker to join a valued client of ours. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to those effected by Homelessness, ensuring their well-being and their right to safe Housing. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment while implementing support plans tailored to each individuals needs. Responsibilities Provide direct support to service users effected by Homelessness, assisting with filling out forms, benefit access, financial planning and tenancy sustainment Implement and monitor plans, ensuring that each person''s needs are met effectively Maintain open and clear communication Document progress and any changes in behaviour or circumstances, reporting these as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each individual Qualifications Experience working in a similar role providing Housing Support is essential Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans is advantageous. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication purposes is beneficial.
