About the Role As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living in supported accommodation or accessing homelessness services. Every shift is different, and you''ll play a key role in promoting independence, safety and wellbeing. You will be supporting individuals with: Homelessness and rough sleeping Domestic abuse Drug and alcohol misuse Mental health needs Complex and challenging behaviours Offending backgrounds and multiple disadvantages Duties Include Providing practical and emotional support to service users Completing welfare checks and risk assessments Encouraging independent living skills Managing challenging behaviour using a calm and professional approach Maintaining accurate case notes and incident reports Safeguarding vulnerable adults and following safeguarding procedures Liaising with external professionals and emergency services where required Essential Requirements Previous experience within homelessness, supported housing or housing support is ..... full job details .....
