The Role
Providing one to one support to individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness
Supporting clients to access accommodation, benefits and community services
Assisting with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking and maintaining a tenancy
Building positive relationships to encourage independence and long term stability
Working alongside external agencies including social services and support providers
Managing incidents calmly and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients
Maintaining accurate records, support plans and risk assessments in line with compliance
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working with vulnerable adults or within housing or homelessness services
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
Confident supporting individuals with complex needs including mental health and substance misuse
Ability to manage challenging behaviour and de escalate situations effectively
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Flexible approach to shifts including days, evenings and weekends
