Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support/Retirement Living Scheme Worker to join a Housing Association on an ongoing temporary contract. Thsis is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.-

About the Role

As Scheme Officer, you will:

• Support residents to maintain their wellbeing and independence

• Promote resident engagement and community involvement

• Carry out scheme inspections and compliance checks, including health & safety and fire alarm testing

• Monitor and liaise with contractors to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards

• Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support

• Assist with lettings, resales and income monitoring

• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues at first point of contact where possible

• Escalate more complex housing matters to the Housing Officer where appropriate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience within housing, supported housing or retirement living

• An understanding of the needs of older people and the importance of promoting independence
