Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association in the Leicester area on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is community based and requires a Drivers Licence.-

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support to individuals with multiple and complex needs.
• Provide short-term caseload cover during staff absence or increased service demand.
• Support service users to achieve goals within their support plans.
• Deliver drop-in sessions, group activities and resident meetings.
• Encourage independent living skills including budgeting, tenancy management and interpersonal skills.
• Support residents to access education, training, employment and community opportunities.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting people with multiple and complex needs.
• Ability to build positive and empowering relationships with vulnerable adults.
• Experience of support planning, outcome monitoring and resident engagement.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and reporting procedures.
