Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Provider in Leicester. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred support to adults with multiple and complex needs. Manage a caseload and develop individual support plans. Support service users to identify and achieve personal goals. Help individuals develop the skills needed to live independently. Provide support with housing and tenancy-related issues. Assist with rent, rent arrears, bills, benefits and budgeting where required. Support individuals to maintain suitable accommodation and prevent homelessness. Help service users move towards permanent and sustainable housing. Provide advocacy and practical support where needed. Build positive and professional relationships with service users. Work with local authorities, housing providers and other agencies to coordinate appropriate support. Maintain accurate records, support plans and case notes. Monitor progress and review support plans regularly. Requirements: Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with multiple and complex needs. Experience developing or delivering person-centred support. Good understanding of housing, accommodation or tenancy-related issues.
