Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a busy Outreach Service in Liverpool on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Role: Provide practical and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community. Support people experiencing homelessness to access appropriate accommodation, services and wider support. Build positive and professional relationships with service users, including those who may be hard to engage. Support individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, substance misuse, trauma, PTSD and other complex needs. Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes. Carry out regular welfare checks and respond appropriately to changing needs or concerns. Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, health services, mental health teams and other agencies. Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures.
