This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals experiencing homelessness, multiple disadvantage and complex needs , helping residents overcome barriers and move towards greater independence. Key Responsibilities of a Housing Support Officer: Manage a caseload and provide high-quality one-to-one and group support. Build trusting relationships using strength-based and trauma-informed approaches . Develop and review outcome-focused support plans and risk assessments. Support residents with complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse and offending histories. Promote independent living, tenancy sustainment and positive move-on opportunities. Support residents with rent, benefits, budgeting and tenancy management. Maintain accurate case records and ensure safeguarding requirements are met.
