Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Housing Support Worker to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by providing empathetic support, practical advice, and person-centred guidance to individuals moving from crisis towards stability. As a Housing Support Worker, you wil be providing direct support to those that are homeless or at the threat of homelessness. The role:Provide non-judgemental, empathetic support via phone, email and face-to-face contact.Carry out client assessments, identifying needs, risks and opportunities.Support clients with housing benefit, welfare and other entitlements.Develop and deliver person-centred support plans.Liaise with accommodation providers and partner services to secure safe housing.Promote access to health, wellbeing and community resources.Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding policies where necessary.About you:Strong communication and empathy skills.Ability to engage people in distress with patience and resilience.Knowledge of housing and welfare systems (or willingness to learn).Organised, collaborative and committed to strengths-based support.If you are ready to use your skills and compassion to make a lasting difference, we would love to hear from you.
