Housing Solutions Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in East London.In this role, you will manage homelessness cases, make statutory decisions and secure sustainable housing solutions to prevent homelessness.Duties:Manage homelessness cases and make statutory decisions in line with housing legislation.Assess and lawfully discharge or cease homelessness duties.Secure private rented accommodation through landlord liaison and rent deposit schemes.Prevent homelessness through tenancy sustainment, negotiation and support for vulnerable households.Qualifications and Experience:Significant experience managing homelessness or housing options caseloads.Experience making statutory decisions and issuing legally compliant notifications.Experience in homelessness prevention, duty cessation and tenancy sustainment.Experience working with private landlords, letting agents and vulnerable households.What''s on offer:Salary: 29ph may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience Contract type: 3-6 months minimumHours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per weekHow to apply:Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.Due to the extremely high number of applications, it may not be possible to contact every applicant.
